For the good part of my life, I hated writing.  I hated writing out papers for school and barely got over the word limit.  But, I have always been a storyteller.  I can recall my father telling me fairy tale stories of helpful dragons.  One day, we vowed to get these short stories finished, but I stopped writing these stories down.  If someone would have told me a few years ago that I would not only be writing with the most amazing people in the world, but also write long stories out by myself, I would have thought that they were crazy.  But, with a little bit of hard work wanting to answer questions, I became a writer, not knowing what life would have in store.  If you want to do something with all of your heart, then go for it.  Who’s going to stop you?
As for me, I am currently studying Environmental Science in college with hopes of becoming a meteorologist.  Writing has become one of my favorite pastimes along with reading.  I am also a fangirl of many things, ranging from Harry Potter to anime such as Fairy Tail.  Thank you so much for taking a short piece of your day to look through this.  I may speak for all of us, but without any of you reading, we would never be here today.  Also, through the links below, I would enjoy hearing your thoughts about the series!

What is your favorite book?

Tough question!  There’s too many of them for me to choose from.  Right now, any book from the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling because I am obsessed with the series and thinking that magic does exist.

What is your favorite movie?

Any movie from the Divergent Series, Deadpool, or Minions for today’s modern world.  Classic movie would be Blues Brothers.

What is your favorite song?

Wow...I have way too many right now!  “Carry On My Wayward Son” by Kansas is a go to song for me because of Supernatural.  I also listen to K-Pop and J-Pop as well, so any of the first nine opening themes from Fairy Tail is a good choice as well.

What is your favorite color?

Purple!

Who is your favorite real life hockey team?

I have a few favorite teams in the NHL.  Number one team is Nashville Predators, second favorite is the Edmonton Oilers.  Third team would be the Tampa Bay Lightning. I will literally watch any one of those teams because I like them for different reasons.  I have seen all three of these teams live in different stadiums, but I want to see all 31 of the NHL stadiums.

Who is your favorite hockey player (woman and man or just man)?

There’s a few here, I’ll say that.  Pekka Rinne, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Brayden Point.  There’s more players that I’ll watch, such as Mitchell Marner, but they’re not quite my favorite.

Who is your favorite character that you’ve written about in a story you’ve created?

Okay, this is going to sound selfish, but any of the characters that are based off of myself.  I say this because I literally live the lives of all of these characters each day.  Now, I’m betting that you all have heard of the quote, “A Reader lives 1,000 lives,” but the writer also lives out a life crafting these characters as well.

What got you interested in writing?

For as long as I can remember, I always enjoyed hearing stories, but it was in my Junior Year of High School when I asked myself a crucial question at the time: “What would happen if I ended up in the TV show, Supernatural?”  Instead of answering my question quickly, I started to write a story about it.  Well, 170 pages later, I got my answer and a story that told the answer.  And that’s when I became a full-fledged writer.

How often do you write for and where?

Whenever my crazy schedule allows me to and when I want to.  Where...usually somewhere quiet and peaceful.

What advice do you have for young writers?

My piece of advice would be that if you want to write about anything, then just do it.  Don’t be afraid of what others think about your work, so as long as it will make you happy, then that is what really matters then. Don’t let anyone tell you that your work is insignificant or let them destroy your confidence with writing because writing is hard.  You’re an amazing writer by being the best writer that you can be: you.

What is something that people don’t know about you?
I am a Dog Whisperer.  I can easily understand what dogs are thinking and I love cuddling with any dog.  My favorite breed of dog are the Chinese Crest Hairless because they’re so ugly that they’re cute.
