Welcome to KhokkeyZemli!
Believe it or not, but I did not grow up with hockey; but I did grow up with fairy tales. I was introduced to hockey when I was fourteen years old and fell in love with it and continue to do so every day. Trust me, there’s never been a day ever since where I DON’T think talk about hockey!
Hockey has seeped into every aspect of my life: family, friends, school, heck, even writing! After more into a year of writing, I began adding in some hockey elements to my stories and began sharing them online. During this time, I met up with the head honcho of our group, Stephi, and we hit it off with “Peekaboo” two months later. Later on, I met the Twins, Shannon and Tina, over another website. With an idea by Stephi and an incentive for me to join (writing my favourite character), we all got together and wrote this one-of-a-kind series!
The rest is history!

What is your favorite book?
Powerless by Tera Lynn Childs and Tracy Deebs
What is your favorite movie?
I Am Number Four
What is your favorite song?
I have many due to my vast variety of genres (20s, 40s, liquid dubstep, scores) I enjoy and this changes all the time, but at the moment, my favourite song is “Enjoy The Silence” by Depeche Mode (yes, that ‘80s band).
What is your favorite color?
Magenta! And okay, teal.
Who is your favorite real life hockey team?
So I like a variety of leagues:
NHL: San Jose Sharks
AHL: San Diego Gulls
NWHL: Buffalo Beauts
WHL: Brandon Wheat Kings
Who is your favorite hockey player (woman and man or just man)?
My favorite hockey guy is Kale Clague (it’s like Romeo and Juliet here)! And my favorite hockey lady is Nicole Stock, my birthday and position twin!
Who is your favorite character that you’ve written about in a story you’ve created?
Joseph Cramarossa, hands down: Sassy, cynical, sardonic, short-tempered, such passion yet such chill. Add in a hint of mysteriousness. It takes skill to get his character on point, but I have such a blast writing about him and it’s a reward reading about him afterward!
What got you interested in writing?
My first sixth grade English teacher and my elementary school imagination
How often do you write for and where?
I write at least once to even tens times a week, depending on my schedule. I can only write either in the dining room, basement, or bedroom.
What advice do you have for young writers?
Write what you’re passionate about. You’ve gotta love what you write. Because if you don’t, then the readers won’t enjoy it either since there wouldn’t have emotion to it. Also, outlines are the cure to writer’s block!
What is something that people don’t know about you?
Once upon a time, I hated ice skating. Now I’m an ice goaltender. Go figure!
