Welcome to KhokkeyZemli!
Never give up, never give in. Your dreams are what you make of them. Dreams can come true should you wish for them to. Since 5th grade, it’s been a dream of mine to publish a novel or have my name out there as an author. Now it is a reality, because I have worked hard and pursued my passions. God has given me this wonderful gift and I am so happy that I can share my gift with the world.
I could never have done this without the aid of my favorite three writers and I look forward to more projects with them. Peekaboo is just the beginning! I’d also like to give a shout out to my dad who got me into watching hockey. I got home from work one night and my dad had the game on. It was the Toronto Maple Leafs vs the Boston Bruins and I’ll never forget the excitement I felt. I followed the Bruins and soon I discovered the Tampa Bay Lightning and Dallas Stars. And I’m just falling in love more and more with the sport, from the fans to the players to the organization! Now I am a huge fan of hockey and I follow the Colorado Avalanche, Tampa Bay Lightning, New York Rangers and Dallas Stars (My Forever Four)
The Tampa Bay Lightning are apart of me and I will forever and always be the Thunder!

What is your favorite book?
I’ve had lots, but I think my favorite and the one that got me started into writing was a series called “Pendragon” by: DJ McHale
What is your favorite movie?
Truman Show, Psycho, Anything Disney or Animated, Marvel Movies (Avengers, Thor, Captain America, Guardians of the Galaxy...), X-Men (there’s so many!)
What is your favorite song?
I’m a variety person, so my playlist can range from Russian or Finnish pop to American Pop in the 90s, to today to rock to showtunes and more genres! But you’ll rarely find rap or twangy country.
What is your favorite color?
Royal blue, Purply Purple and victory green!
Who is your favorite real life hockey team?
Well...I mainly watch NHL, ECHL and AHL now and the above co-author recently got me wanting to watch the NWHL. I've also paid attention to the Liiga in Finland and KHL. So I’m just going to list favorite Teams and players
NHL: LIGHTNING!! The Tampa Bay Lightning are my children! :) I also love the Colorado Avalanche, New York Rangers, Dallas Stars and I have weak spots for the Carolina Hurricanes. I enjoy various players throughout the league.
I started by having a forced/family-based fandom for the Boston Bruins which branched into me discovering that my favorite team was local the entire time! Shine bright like a Star and be the Thunder!
AHL: The Baby Bolts, the Syracuse Crunch are my little children, Texas Stars, Colorado Eagles and Hartford Wolf Pack
ECHL: Orlando Solar Bears and Idaho Steelheads (for one particular player lol)
KHL: I don’t have a team, but I guess you can say “SKA” is my team
NWHL: No team at the moment, but I’m getting into it with various players like Hilary Knight, Emily Pfalzer, Brianna Decker, Amanda Kessel and Meghan Duggan!
I am also trying to branch out and follow more leagues and support the “Baby Bolts” in the OHL, QMJHL, WHL…there's a lot of hockey leagues!!
Who is your favorite hockey player (woman and man or just man)?
Jonne Tammela, Jimmy Huntington, Yanni Gourde and Vladdy Namestnikov <3 :) Also, Tyson Jost, JT Compher, Samuel Girard, Cale Makar, Nathan MacKinnon, Gabriel Landeskog, Mikko Rantanen, Vlad Kamenev, Alex Newhook, Brayden Point, Chris Krieder, Mikhail Sergachev, Tony Cirelli, Kirby Dach, Cole Caufield, Nick Suzuki, Sebastian Aho, Pavel Buchnevich, Elias Pettersson, Matty Peca, Brett Howden, Trevor Zegras, Filip Chytil, Kaapo Kakko, Otto Somppi, Taylor Raddysh, Alexey Lipanov, Roope Hintz, Jason Dickinson, Radim Salda, Connor Zary, Colton Parayko, Dennis Yan, Peter Abbadonato, Alex Volkov, Andre Burakovsky, Jesperi Kotkaniemi, Brendan Gallagher, Artturi Lehkonen, Olli Maatta, Dylan Strome, Ryan Strome, Alex DeBrincat, Trevor Olson, Colby McAuley, Tayler Thompson, Taylor Cammerata and Artemi Panarin.

Who is your favorite character that you’ve written about in a story you’ve created?
Right now, because I am mostly a fanfiction writer, Vladislav “Vladdy” Namestnikov is my favorite character to write. I’ve given him a sassy damsel personality and he’s just so much fun to write in the informal style of narration. I also enjoy Also Jonne Tammela's sassy pesky personality and Nikita Kucherov’s OC character, Evgeny Kuchikin’s baby, cookie-loving personality. Note: Never throw Kuchereon at glowing symbols!
What got you interested in writing?
My 5th grade teacher, Mrs. Slagle. There were MANY creative writing assignments to do, which most groaned at. There were “write an alternate ending for your favorite book”, “write an alternate scene in your favorite book”, “Vocab Stories” (basically where you plug new vocabulary words into a short story you write).
How often do you write for and where?
As often and much as I can, normally in the comfort of my home or at Barnes and Noble.
What advice do you have for young writers?
If you have a dream, pursue it! I hate to be cheesy, but the truth is, making a book is hard by yourself. But with a close group of friends and partners and the right motivation, you have the ability it to make it far. Set goals and just write, write, write. Don’t ever give up. You will hit roadblocks, but it all about finding the pathway around that yourself. The only one stopping your dream is you, so step aside and walk through the door into the magical lands of successful writing!
What is something that people don’t know about you?
I’ve met just about all of the players for the Lightning and a few non-Lightning players as well. Hockey players are sweet, down-to-Earth and just awesome people off the ice (except for a select rare few). I’ve touched Stanley and I’m good friends with Dave Andreychuk. My favorite Bolt to talk with is Brayden Point.
