Boltsdale first appears in the second story of the series.It is a water-land island city that is very similar to an Atlantian type of kingdom. However, Mer-Humans rule here. Shapeshifting mermaid-humans who can thrive both in the water as well as on the land. The main castle is half in the water and half out of the water.

For most of the series, Boltsdale is ruled by the valiant King, Victor Stamakin, who is also the father of Vladan Voskresenskov.
